It’s funny… I’ve been reluctant to publish the demos for that very reason. It’s amazing to me how we imprint music in our minds if we hear it and like it, and then we don’t want it to change!
I’m sort of the same way… I get attached to one arrangement, and I don’t want to hear anything else.
On a Third Day behind-the-scenes video, I once heard them call it “demo envy” and the producer was warning them not to get too attached to the sound of the rough/scratch ideas.
We’re more than halfway through day three with no posts. Really?
Dig the anti-war chants on the back half. I almost expected to hear “What do we want?” “PEACE!!!” “When do we want it?” “NOW!!!”
